My afternoon snack yesterday I whipped up myself: Special K cereals with Driscoll’s humongous strawberries and blackberries I got from S&R (didn’t know we had blackberries in the Philippines, actually) in fresh milk mixed with a teaspoon of sugar. Mhmmmm!!! Afternoon delight!!!

Give me a few seconds to gush….. I AM LITERALLY ON CLOUD NINE!

Yesterday, my aunt picked up the frozen brazo de mercedes I ordered from Dimpy Camara, and boy, was it the best! I am a huge lover of sweets, but Dimpy’s frozen brazo is definitely a break from the ordinary cakes, ice cream and, yes, brazo de mercedes sold everywhere. Made up of layers of egg white, custard filling, mantecado (or is it cheese?) ice cream and graham crust, this piece of heaven is just beyond words.
